Still no overboost which is good although I've developed a feint rattle on the exhaust at 3-3.5k revs which I believe is coming from the bottom downpipe fixing bracket. I couldn't secure said bracket properly when I switched to the Piper PCE so I may have to have another look at it, although I think I'm probably thinking the rattle is louder than it really is. Also had a problem with blowing off of intake pipes and boost leakage which I solved with a bit of adjusting and tightening up of the intake pipework.
ESM's V5 switcher is now fitted to replace the V4 and its working perfectly and as expected is staying in Elysium closed loop program 7
. I still need to mount the switcher which is currently in the glove box however. Very happy with the improvement although I now have a spare V4.2.Simons Roll-bars, fairing and rear deck are now being manufactured and I've just got to figure out when to get down ther for the fitting!!
Bobs rear brake upgrade is not to far off now either so thats something else I've got to plan in.
Blackie got a lot of attention from Historic Club Lotus at Snetterton with several people asking me if I had spoken to Graham somebody (I think it was) who ran a subsection of Club Lotus just for JPS Team Lotus related stuff. Being as though I now cant remember exactly what they said and didn't get a chance later to go back and speak to them I'm a bit stumped.

Finally as a bit of fun. I've ordered this camera kit along with some in car mounting equipment for our upcoming trip to the Isle of Man so I should have some action video of Blackie in action soon enough.

news, G. Even if it is a production fault which you won't have to pay for, it sill means sidelined time in the (alledgedly) warmer months, when you want it most.
