so did he get fed up with the clutch and give it to you?

I thought it should be his as it's the other double bubble Elan.

So what you mean is it is the other LGM development/brand Elan :-D

Yes, Doug. We are talking LGM Edition Elan now.

News was out there that Stripey is infected too. She now has the same front lips as LGM #1 Elan :-D

I must say that I am impressed with your taste -- that's another mod I'd considered. Problem is the front of the car is so low already--that's why I didn't do it. You'd better be careful!!

Hope to hear more about it and see pics in the Stripey thread :-D

Thanks Doug :smt053

The front lips don't come cheap.

Since then I have to drive in and out of the parking lot at an angle.

Be very careful, yes. In the past, I touched those concrete blocks at the parking lot few times with the yellow stripes on the front bumper :smt053 Got a pretty good sense of where the lips are now. So far not a bump there.

The best part is that this thing is just weird. Other than it looks pretty nice with these 2 plastic pieces from the Esprit, but you can actually feel aerodynamic in action. Subtle but discernable. The car becomes more stable and even track straighter on the freeway. :smt026

LGM told me that she felt it weird when she just put them on her white beauty. I was curious but found it's exactly every single word she mentioned. Weird in a good way.

no this is the LGM thread, Stripey's lips go in the Stripey thread.

may be the right time for a front bumper respray if you haven't done it yet. White lip under the front of Stripey will look a bit :?

Quite like that and the Elise lads do rate the front splitter.

Just a few questions

Does it sit any lower than the original rubber lip?
what modifications are needed to get to fit?

Since Pinky has been lowered and i have a sloped drive just worried that if i fit one it will get smashed within 10 mins off fitting

Gee...where did Marie get the idea to start with a white Elan, modify it, then get herself a red one? :smt017 :smt006

I guarantee your red car has better paint than mine, though!

As someone who has been lucky enough to see LGM's car in person and go for a ride, the pictures don't quite do it justice. Too many little details you can't see... A very cool car.
Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.
