Where's the Game On project thread

Postby chris.t » Thu 09.05.2013, 18:49

Where is this gold nugget of a thread? This thread should not be lost, it was a classic.
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

I seem to remember threads dropped off after a while if they weren't updated. They just vanished :( Shame, as that one was an absolute corker!

Is this still true today?
If so, valuable info is getting lost every day ?!

I don't know if it is still happening, but a lot of very useful LEC group memory has been lost (and I'm not just talking about the effects of alcohol on brain cells at Donington). For example, see the Mountain Chip development discussion here, and the soft top replacement information which used to be on the forum.

That's one of the reasons why the LEC Wiki started by Geoff is so important, and why it should be fed.

Hi all.!.
Have not been on the forum the last couple of years, but needed some info, and then found this thread.
For your info, I can report that the Bling Mobile is still in Denmark, are in fair shape and waiting in my garage for me to put here back on the road.
But I still have the Silver, and can only drive in one car at the time. So - it must wait until Silver is sold, or written-off on a track day. ;-)
Might take the Silver to UK sometime this summer. It has not been on a long tour for years.

Cheers
Delta.

Delta,
Hi there. Long time no hear.
:smt006
It's good to know that you and your Elans are still around and doing well.
Where do track days get held in Denmark?
If you decide to come to Scotland, let us know.

Hi John.
Oh-yes, it has been a long time, but I have moved to another house in need of a total rebuild, and it takes time.!. Almost done now, so it's time to think of something else.
Our track days (Lotus Klub DK) are held mostly on Padborg Park, Jyllandsringen og Ring Djursland, all located in Jylland. For us in east DK, the nearest is in Sweden, where races are held on both Ring Knutstorp and Sturup raceway.
Oh - it would be nice to visit Scotland this summer. Years back we ware living i Glasgow for a year, and just loved the highland and area around Lock Lomond. But you know, the missy also have a say in this, and she fancy sunny Spain. :?
Well, lets see, we might be able to do both. 8)
