1991 Elan SE - chosen for Enrights blue collection

Postby aaronh21 » Tue 28.07.2015, 12:05

Hi

I'm selling my beloved Lotus Elam M100 due to getting divorce, the car was on the road 2 years ago but is now in the garage with a full silcone hose kit half fitted and new seat covers ready to install. I'm looking for £3250 for the car but I'm open to offers, I have a cambelt kit and waterpump to go with the car as well as other spares I've collected over the years.

The car had a full re-spray 2 years ago also, 4 brand new Falken tyres, and Moutain Chip. Elan Scan cable also included with car.

I will try and upload pictures later on this week. email me if you are interested. aaron.hodgson29@gmail.com

Will be sad to see her go. :(

Aaron.

Hi

Photo's of the car can be found in the link below (assuming i've shared the right photos), Mileage is approx 124K. I have all the parts for the car that have been taken off. I'm open to offers.

Basically when the car was taken off the road the plan was:
Cambelt, tensioner and waterpump change (of which I still have)
New oil cooler - which is fitted and tested.
Oil and filter change (done)
Seat centers reupholstered in alcantara which have been done but not fitted back on the seat frames.
Seat foam repaired (done)
Heat seat kit fitted (pad on one seat but not wired in)
Silicone Hose Kit (blue) 90% fitted some fiddly hoses to do.
New Tyres (fitted) Falken
New AUX elect waterpump (fitted)
New spark plugs.
New Plug leads purchased but not fitted yet)
New B-Post caps (not fitted yet)
New Fuel filter (not fitted yet)

I also have an Alfa Romeo 3.0 GTV V6 forsale for £950.00 which is my car club hack, registration number T777GTV. Needs and MOT next month and the air bag light is on which came on after the battery went flat. Silver with Tan leather interior 150K on the clock engine rebuild at 100K.

Could I ask the current status here as I've only just pciked up this thread.
Is your M100 could be driven or does it need a trailer - it looks almost ready to go with minimal effort?

:agree:
At least we will know it is going to get restored or keep as many other Elans as possible on the road.
My guess is the former :D

Neil

Well done! Good luck with your purchase. I was sorely tempted but goodness knows what the management would say.

(they haven't seriously queried the need for an Elan and an MX-5 yet)
