Maybe that's the left over beer from all the empty cans that were inside it at Donington  :D

Yeah, well please don't carp on about it.

Call me stupid, but I had to see those pictures to believe it is actually the Bling Vehicle. At first I thought it was a matter of speech by Delta, now the truth is obvious....

I feel sorry for the Guy who spent all that money with so enthusiasm and so many dreams about it even though many didnt aprove. Better luck next time.

Delta, best of luck with your newly aquired project. I had a few dealings with Gerome, (Clutch, Flywheel, roll bar) and as you say he was all right and you couldn't help but admire his enthusiasm even if you didn't appreciate his taste. I for one wish him well, but am glad the Elan has found a sympathetic home.

Just had the Bling-mobile on a dyno. 197Hk at 6.055rpm, and 232Nm at 5.880 rpm. on 2,25" exhaust.

My silver had 185Hk at 5.570 rpm and 257Nm at 4.300 rpm. on standard exchaust. :!: :!: :!:

Surely the Bling-mobile needs a Haltech to benefit from the upgraded turbo and the larger injectors.

Anyone who knows where to get one.?.

Doesn`t suprise me about the power as he wouldn`t take advice. Since the guys of here can get over 200bhp with chip and exhaust then his money was well spent NOT! LMAO.

If the bling machine has a bigger turbine, and an exhaust of 2.5", at 1.0 bar it should get 230hp with ease. Seems that a very bad installation took place there.

Exhaust is 2,25", and the Everest chip limit the boost at 0,90bar.

Still, the performance is to low, which I think is due to the larger injectors as the engine is running far to rich. :(

Think the answare is installing a Haltech E6GMX ECU. :!:

You definitely need proper mapping and fuelling to get the best power from a new turbo and injectors.

My Haltech should be mapped today or tomorrow, if it's not there'll be hell to pay, I'll report back then. The good thing is that I should be able to download and send you my map for you to upload into your system. It may not be optimal (hell, it might blow your engine up if the characteristics are different enough!) but it might be a useful comparison.

Sounds great.
Please let me know when you have them, and I'll think I'll take the risk of blowing up the engine.
