Could you get those gaps in the stripes filled-in over the front bumper, and particularly on the boot lid under the spoiler?

I realise that the curve is a bit of an issue for vinyl, but it does leave it looking sort of unfinished IMHO. :?

:agree:

So what is the penalty in UK for running without a front plate? Probably death the way things are these days
A mate has been running an MR2 with the plate on top of the dash for so long now that the heat has formed it to the shape of the dash

I decided to put the stripes where they are after practicing with tape and paper set-ups. I actually like it in person more the way it is than fully striped! The rear half of the car has striping only on the wing and I like it subtle that way.

Ekapol can do whatever he wants with it though . . . :-D

Nice picture. :smt044 ""

Yes, I thought about it too. But then I really like the way it is right now. That's why I mentioned before that Doug has good eyes. I like it that the stripes at the bottom of the bumper lead the eyes all the way down closer to the ground. Just on the rear wing to lead the lines to the back and wrap up the whole package that way. Finished in an un-finished way. Kinda like work of art. Kudo to Doug.

The part on the front bumper that doesn't have the stripes also carry the eyes horizontally with the shape and width of the front bumper, making the whole thing a lot more round and smoother than just 2 thick yellow vertical lines.

Appreciate the photoshop picture. Nice to see something for a change :smt023

I was running about in my Elan with a front plate stuffed on the dash for a good few weeks after I got her resprayed, and before I had the new plates made up. I seem to remember Dans spotted me in Cirencester at the time.

Never got stopped or questions asked, but then again, in the 8 years of ownership I have never been pulled over.

In the height of summer as it was, the plate virtually moulded itself to the dash vents by the time I got it replaced.

Looks good if you can get away with it. (the lack of front plate, not the melted dash insert) :D

Thank you! They are from last year run. I've just digged through them and think I should post some.
