Twenty quid! That's Appalling! ;)
I'm going to get some made.

Fortunately I have just spent a few minutes discussing this with a colour and trim expert. We will match one against the finish standards in the next couple of weeks and then see about getting them made.

Probably won't be quick - will report back when I have more

1 was missing from my car when I bought it 17 years ago and I couldn't find one back then. I eventually managed to get hold of 1 about 10 years ago when I bought my donor car.
Unfortunately there was a lot missing from it and it only had the one.

I wonder if he'd swap for a couple of limited edition mugs.

You could always think outside the box and adapt something…

Check eBay item 191705471026 round plastic black blanking end cap caps tube inserts plug bung steel and the finish looks much the same. Its got to be better than Geoff's plug.

Geoff, I think that's more about broadening your horizon rather than thinking outside the box. Besides, I don't have a box to think outside of.

Rambo, unfortunately it will go straight over most heads.

I'm starting by matching the finish. Then hopefully there will be something with that finish that we can cut down.

Okay, so here's my thought.

First, I'm alright Jack, 'cos I don't need any of these

However, with all the totally knackered cars in DVB or anywhere else, is it possible to remove the outer 'skin' of a scrap dashboard and use it like any other 'wrap' material around a plastic/fibreglass/hardboard disc? It shouldn't be hard to make something which will fit in (physically and visually).

However, if you really do want to keep to the original items (which are few and far between), then you need to pay whatever the seller is asking......
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually.....

go on - click this link - you know you want to!

Cant believe the fuss you lot make about nothing on here :-D , this is school kids stuff :-D , I just made 3 of these in less than 30 minutes,
and its a doddle, not only that they look better than the ones I took off the thing.
So what I will do Clemo, if you want, I will send you my 3 originals and I will put the new ones on my car, and for anyone else that might need them I will post a simple 'How to make'.

These didn't exist this morning!, well the 3rd one along did since its an original. ;-)

Looking good Jamie.

If Clemo wants your originals for his JCS and you can post them to me by next Thursday I will personally transport them to CC for Clemo. No doubt I will need to have a fitting demonstration in the Waitrose car park in Malmesbury  I will pm you my address in Roxburghshire just in case

If he doesn't want them I'll bung these "very rare" items on EBay for £19.49 each
