Reflector Cover for Rear Lamp Cluster

Postby Rusty Wishbone » Mon 01.01.2018, 00:49

One of the red rectangular transparent reflector covers has fallen off one of the rear lamp clusters of my car. Does anyone have a spare that I could acquire?

Rusty .
I was down at SJ sportscar last week and he has a damaged rear light ( cracked across the top and it has a number plate etching on it ) . So pretty useless .

If you are stuck it is for sale . Didn't catch a price though

Rambo,
Unfortunately, the plastic rectangle fell off on the road somewhere. It it the bit which covers the reflector that is missing.

Clemo,
Thank you. I shall be on the phone to SJs tomorrow morning.

Yes. And that is a very limited edition Clan McElan Donington 2009 sticker that I designed for the convoy from Scotland :burnout:

Is this the piece you are needing?

I have several broken covers that were part of the tail light cover manufacturing project and a couple still have the reflectors intact.

If you are still looking, send me an email and I will help you sort it out.

Thank you for your offer to help. I have now sourced one. I just need to extract it from the light cover with a Dremel.

Possibly a bit of heat from a hair drier? it is glued to the cavity so a dremel won't help much. Controlled heat will help and a butter knife to lift it once the glue softens.

Heat from the backside so you don't melt the reflector.
