Simon
Can't help with a replacement, but look at HJ2's posts re inserting a new core and having his rebuilt.
Realise it depends on the damage to yours, but this may be a fix for you.

Prices go between 140 - 507 plus the VAT on top, obviously depending on what state its in.

Unfortunately only the casing could be saved on mine so it was the max !

Of the people i contacted most seemed to suggest mid 300's for a normal rebuild (plust the VAT).

They did agree to bore out the wastegate for me whilst it was dismantled - another 40 quid.

CR Turbos were a lot cheaper, I don't see how anything would be re used other than the casting or its not a refurb. :?

So Turbocharger Solutions are charging £608 for what AET will do for around £360 and you went to Turbocharger Solutions ... :banghead:

As I said in the thread I posted a link to ... AET totally rebuilt my Subaru turbo for £365 AND that included a courier arriving at my door to collect it and bringing it back rebuilt 2 days later.
....asked if they can do Elan IHI's and what price and got "No problem, £200 to £300 depending on how bad it is" [but remember to add VAT to their figures]

Here it is again for anybody who wants to save around £250  .. ... AET Turbos.

I can thoroughly recommend dapinky's excellent write up and the kit is only £40.
