Headlamp Pod Motor

I am trying to acquire a nearside/left hand headlamp motor for a 1995 Lotus Elan S2. It will need to be posted to the Isle of Wight.

Can anyone assist??

Usually it is the 3 plastic tabs (or the plastic gear) that break, not the motor itself.

If you operate it by hand (turning the knob on top), and nothing happens, then the tabs (or gear) are shredded. If the pod does come up, then yes it may be that the motor has gone. When you open it up, the gearbox case will be full of small plastic bits like semolina: that's the remains of the 3 tabs!!

If so, it's an easy fix and as Rambo says kits are available from SJS. They are also available from LEC member wayne on his shop website
