Has this sort of thing ever been tried on a convertible? Could be tricky getting door seals to line up properly..

consider the weight of the doors = you could need structural reinforcements to the car given is is firbeglass . . . ??

Don't you think it's kinda funny on a convertible?

I don't see why this could be a good idea, unless your garage is very small, or if you always ding the car that park next to you

Sorry to go against the majority, but I think Lambo doors are suited to any 2 door sports coupe/convertible providing that they have frame-less windows (which most do these days).

I'd like to see it on an Elan.

I still quite like the idea of the lambo doors, but Jim, just for you, I'll cancel my order

If Elan prices drop any further, every boyracer in town will running about in elans with lambo doors, twin exhausts, stickers on the doors, led's on the washer jets - etc etc

Don't do it

Wouldn't it be a great idea to get a big tin of filler and fill in all the swage lines / seams along the side of the body and make them all smooth

Dont worry only kidding!
