I was wondering if the rear light conversion that Roger has on his Red car is still available as I think I would prefer to have mine like that.

I believe he did this himself.

Surferphil is putting together replacements not sure what progress he's made lately :poke:

Sorry abmunro,
But this was a complete one off as it would cost too much to re-produce.
As Ailwyn says, try Surferphil's.It's looking good!!

Yes, mine is a three piece as original with the eye-brow still showing. The only thing that's changed is the lights.
However,i would have prefered the new LED Elise lights, but were too large to keep the eye-brows.I wanted it as close to original as possible.
For the price of Phils conversion it would be worth having especially as i think he is doing variable options!

I have bought Elise S2 lights.

I need a bodyshop now to make me a set like Rogers.

Will be asking around North East.

Will keep you abreast of any progress.

What is happening, I spent all night reading 2 threads about rear light conversions and neither came to an end
Has the project been cancelled?

Surfer Phils project is still ongoing :D :D

The project is ongoing, but unfortunately Phil has let things like moving house (to a different bit of the country), getting a job (or two), having a baby (Well, that one was Mrs Phil :D ) etc etc get in the way of it!!!

Rest assured, there is progress being made - there was a bit of an upset with the mould maker moving to Germany in the middle of the project, but he is meant to be back now, and will be getting a visit from someone soon (just to ensure that there is no further missunderstanding about what his contractural obligations are :-D and how it might be considered a civil matter, but if it gets resolved quickly, then Criminal Fraud won't even be a question!!!)

I did not know that there are two light panels going on. I read the section from Marie? and for some reason the forum is blocked so I never got to the end of the article

This is mine:

However the mould needs a bit more work to get a perfect finish on the light pods. I need 4 days of dry weather and then I will be in production!

Mine will come fitted with wiring harness adapters, Reg plate Led lights and no permanent changes to the car! 8)

The discussion thread on 'How do you want your lights' was closed because a conclusion had been reached and it was going off topic.

Of course an option to have just light units or just reg plate plinth will be catered for. 8)

They look very good ;-) You must be pleased with the end result. Looks like next summer if we are waiting for 4 dry days. Thanks for the photo/

I had a good day today; 2 of the 4 pods are done and the pannel mould is done! Shouldn't be long

Phil,

Will your panel work on a Fed? I mean, will a US size plate fit?

I think so, what are the dimentions of a US Plate?

Is LGM still doing a US/Federal pannel?
