I finally got around to installing my Euro front side panels with side markers. As everyone knows the FED cars did not come with side markers as the Euro models did. I have always liked them and there have been more than a few times that I have needed them. Esp here in southern California traffic. So here is my write up. ( I will add photos as soon as this site lets me...)

1. First of all, obtain a set of left and right side panels with lights and pigtail plugs and have them painted to match your car.

2. Turn your wheels away from the panel you will be removing (you do not need to remove the wheels or lift the car). Then pull back the wheel well lining. Feel behind panel and loosen the nut (DO NOT REMOVE ANY OF THE BOLTS ENTIRELY, JUST LOOSEN THEM)

3. Open the door and with a swivel head ratchet loosen the two bolts at the base of the panel and loosen the nut near upper the door hinge.

4. Pull the panel out at the bottom then slide the panel down to release it.

5. Behind the panel is the plug for the light already active and powered just plug the light in.

6. If needed remove the bolts from your old non marker panels and use them on the new (ROW) euro panels.

7. Reach behind and retighten the bolts. adjust the panel to fit smooth with the door and tighten the bolts.

8. Turn the wheels and do it again to the other side.

9. Enjoy the safety functionality of your side markers!

P.S. The small square light housings that snap onto the panels are directly the same as the ones on the 1995-2002 Land Rover - Range Rover, so if you would like smoke clear ones instead of the orange/amber ones that came with our cars it's as simple as looking them up on eBay. Cheers
