Hehe, I have one. It's currently stripped and in BRG. Building the extension has taken priority unfortunately. I'm pleased I can finally work on the engine bay in all weather now though! :burnout:

It's not quite as tight as it looks. I can get in and out ok with the windows and roof up.

Before you go any further, fix some old carpet or flat foam down the sides of the garage walls

You'll regret it if you don't :?

The car is all ready for the MOT tomorrow. I'm sure there will be something daft it will fail on. Time will tell!

There's confidence for you ...

Seriously though, about the only thing you can't check yourself beforehand is the emissions.

Wow, I can't believe how long it is since my last update!
Well, the car passed its MOT again without any advisories. The AD08 tyres continue to offer more grip than I am prepared to test on a public road. The car is mechanically pretty much where I want it to be.

The good news is my extension and garage are finally complete, the car is now kept in a heated dehumidified space! :-D

The list of bits I still want to do...

Respray/professional buffing job.
Re leather the interior.
Inspect and repair/preserve the outriggers (I still havent had the carpets out to see how good/bad they are)
Replace the door weather strips.
Possibly upgrade the brakes, they work and pull even but still get extremley hot and juddery after a long stretch of twisty roads and heavy braking.
Upgrade the shock absorbers. (There arn't any leaks but I can't help thinking a modern replacement wouldn't improve the feel of the car?)

I hope to be along to a meet/show next year as it has been too long! I can't believe I've had the car nine years!
