evening chaps
jings its been a while since i was on here!
so i was at maw and paws hoose down in sunny bishopton and i was fumbling about in their garage. f**k me sideways if i didnt find a dusty old elan under a big pile of shite!
long story short shes not turned a wheel since 2008 and the last time i turned her over (2010 i think?) she went on fire a bit. im planning on getting her running again this summer with the help of my mate tommy and his new enterprise Bay Autos in Glasgow.
https://www.facebook.com/Bay-Autos-5519 ... 6/?fref=ts tommy is a top lad and a good mechanic even though he is more ginger than my car. im going to give tommy my log in and password for this site so please treat him as you would me
she will need some parts to see the road again so all help would be appreciated, thanks guys

Hi there Stevo,
Is your car the Metallic Orange one, if so may I just say what a great colour that is for the Elan, good luck with getting it back in shape and look forward to seeing it back on the road turning heads sooner rather than later

Look at the state of the front disc and caliper
Almost as Tango orange as the rest of the car

It'll stop it rolling off the back of the lorry when the towing eye shears.
