Okay, the list is closed, 30 items have been ordered for the below people.

I do not want any money at the moment (Neil, that includes you, thanks for the cheque anyway! - i wont be cashing it until i have the parts in my hand) and then we can see how big a share of the shipping we all get, and also who needs onward shipping, and who wants to collect at Donny (or elsewhere).

Just a brief update,

Spoke to Neil at SJs today and gave him my CC details :?

This buying stuff is easy...... just have to remember to pay the bills when they come in!

The order is being processed, but (no surprise here) they don't keep 30 of the grommits in stock, so they should have them by next Wednesday, with delivery to me by Friday.

So once that bit is done, I'll see what you all owe me and sort out postage for those that require it.

Thanks as always Algirdas but don't sweat it. I think we were only saving a few bucks on them. I'll just order one from SJ when I get around to working on the engine this spring.

The grommets all arrived this morning, but i have been invoiced for the full price, not the negotiated discount :(

I have sent an e-mail to get some clarification on the actual price, and am waiting a reply.

In the meantime, can you each let me know if you want them posted or taken to Dony. If you want it posted, please let me have your address (dapinky AT supanet.com - obviously swapping AT for @) it will be a standard envelope/stamp, not a parcel.

SBK - do you still want the one you ordered, or would you rather i tried to find a new home for it?

Unless i hear anything to the contrary, i will be taking them to Dony for distribution.
Dave

Dave,

As long as it's ok with you, can you please post (rather desperate for the grommet), I'll collect my other bits and settle up at the Bollecks meeting if that's ok.

Thanks

Okay, then, I'm still waiting for a reply from 4 people :poke: albeit that 2 are a load of BOLLECKS, so i think i know the answer there!

(unless i've missed the relevant info earlier in the thread  )

I've had an e-mail back from Steve to say he is going to refund the 'overcharge' on my credit card, so we're back down to the £7 + VAT + shipping.

I'll work it out in a bit, but i have to pop into work soon, so can't do it now.

If your collecting at Donny, COD is fine, if you are having it posted, and will be at Donny, I'll take cash/cheque on the day, if not, then a cheque or Paypal is the best way for me (I'll post up details later, when i've sorted the final prices).

For the USA shipment, there is the option of 1 parcel to Techlectic for distribution (if the offer still stands!) or if you are in no great rush, Algirdas, do you have room in your cavernous luggage (at Donny) for 5 extra grommets ? :-D :-D

Availability of grommet around air intake pipe

Postby algirdas » Tue 20.02.2007, 13:23

Dear Dave:

I should have room for five grommets in my suitcase. Its still pretty much "touch and go" with my coming over there. I have my plane ticket and I have some hotel reservations made but that is about it.

It is my understanding that Ian is going to be there as well as, possibly, Miss Fabuloso herself-Marie. So we have some back-ups to me in case I have to bail out at the last possible moment.

Sincerely,

Algirdas

Okay, I think it looks something like this:-

At £7 + VAT each = £8.23.

Shipping to me was £8.35 + VAT = £9.81

£9.81 / 28 customers (Muley & Algirdas, 2 each) = 35p each

Each person owes me £8.23 + 35p = £8.58

[Muley & Algirdas – £8.23 + £8.23 + 35p = £16.81]

For those who want it posting, unfortunately Royal Mail aint interested in a ‘group buy’, so a first-class stamp is still 32p (No charge for the envelope :D ) [total = £8.90, to your door!]

Sheprob, woody & mickmick, yours are going tonight – Ailwyn, I’ve sent you an e-mail as I haven’t got your address (you might see this first).

For payment, if you’re expecting to be at Donny, (or bollecks) I will wait til then, otherwise a cheque can be sent to me at home:-

Dave Pink
57 Ashcombe Park Road
W-s-M
Somerset
BS23 2YF

Or if you want to use PayPal, then my account is dapinky AT ukonline.co.uk (replacing the AT with an @)

For our ‘Former Colonials’, I’ll try and give them to Algirdas (or Marie, or Ian) at Donny to distribute your end, but if anyone needs it before then, let me know and I’ll post direct (don’t know the exact cost, but an airmail letter is either £1.12 or £1.51 depending on whether or not it is above or below 40g – unfortunately my kitchen scales are not accurate enough to decide on the actual weight of a grommet and envelope, but it’s about 40g!

If the American ones go in one parcel, I can send up to 300g by airmail, for £3.43 total, but each of you would need to sort out your ‘onward shipping’ with whoever receives the package.
