Nitron/Eibach suspension

As far as I am aware the part that is some what unique to the Elan e.g. the front lower damper mount should be done this week/next as I hope to bring a kit along to Malvern.
Just a shame I could not prove the track day setup as no one has been forth coming.

Mines had turbo fitted. But don't get it back till next friday.

I had been hoping to test the track setup but nobody seems to be willing or able.
Having said that I am hoping that it can be done soon with a little help from A B Munro
The kits are just about ready so will see about how they want to handle payment and despatch of the kits.
As the kits for the USA will ship direct there will be no VAT on those. but the shipping cost will be higher swings and round abouts.

I'm still definitely in for this and I confirm I want the 80% track set up please. As you know I'm not in UK at present and won't be back until mid Sep. When the kits are ready let me know how to proceed with payment etc. I can wait for delivery until I return. If I'd been able I would have been happy to test the track set up, but it's a bit of a challenge from here .

The kits will be made as soon as the orders are placed.
A deposit of £250.00 is required with full payment due before dispatch.
If people can ring Pete on 01993 849449 with either there credit card in hand or you can get details of their bank and do an electornic transfer.
You will also need to explain that you want a road kit or a track kit.
For our US friends Pete has indicated that he would prefer to deal with UK credit cards only but is willing to take bank transfers from the US.
The US/Canada kits will ship direct so there is no VAT to pay this end.

Can you mark on the list when you have contacted Pete.

£1028.50 + Vat + delivery which is their list less 15%

Eibach spring upgrade + £95 (Replaces 4 main Nitron springs with Eibach items).

Could you explain the *excat* differences between the road kit and track kit, in laymen’s terms. (Is it just a question of stiffer springs or is there more involved? )

Apologies if you have explained this before.

The dampers will be matched to the springs so the track setup will be stronger springs and different damper settings but they are adjustable either side of the optimal depends on driver as to the exact setup. I do not think Rip changed his (road setup) from the setting they were at when fitted and those seem to work well.

Correct. I have not made any adjustments & are pleased with them.
