Placed the order with Atlantic today. BTW- I noticed something regarding Paypal... I forget who- but someone put the reason for Paypal payment as 'gift' rather than 'goods/services' and that resulted in a zero paypal charge for transfering funds. If we all do that in the future we can zero out Paypal % fees added in... Just a thought! Once I have the coils received I will update with tracking/delivery info.

IIRC marking the payment as a gift does not make a difference to Paypal but the sender has the option to pay the transfer fee rather than have the fee deducted from the monies that you receive. Either way, Paypal takes a cut.

Also trade rate is up to 5% whereas Gift rate is 3-10%.

Ah-ha... Thanks John/Foo. Nice clarification. I thought we had an opening, but apparently Paypal got us with their legal mumbo-jumbo yet again...


Anywho-

Second batch is on the way to me from Atlantic (will probably be sent on Monday)

Batch one is on the way to Rip from me (sent this morning Priority which is 6-10 day transit time). I discovered that there is no tracking/delivery confirmation available on the international box. I am going to go with fingers crossed and hope that it makes it there maneuver then. Rip- when you open the box you will find that each coil is individually wrapped and there are five envelopes, so packing to ship off to each person should be simply sticking 2 coils and an envelope in each box. Please let me know when the package arrives so I know that everything made it okay!

On another note- I went and installed the MSD coils in my car last night to make sure that it all went smoothly (and before opening 10 other packages so I knew that they are correct). 15 minute job (including painting the numbers on the MSD coils) and all went according to plan...

Yes indeed...

Rip told me that the first batch arrived and appears to be all fine. I was waiting as I wanted to see if we avoided the VAT with the way I sent it. Second batch left today and is being shipped to Neil. He is going to distribute from there so I am guessing that he will be in contact for your addresses between now and the 6-10 days that it takes to get from here across the pond?

Please let me know if you have any questions or problems. I will be out of town again for the next few days, though- so please pardon a delayed reply...

Neil- can you let me know when they get to you so I know that all is well?

Should get around to fitting them this afternoon when the car's cooled off. Think I should re-gap the plugs from 0.8 or run the coils in as-is for a while?

I would regap the plugs while you have it apart, you have nothing to loose.
