I can also get Castrol GTX Magnatec (again, petrol or diesel) cheap-ish too. (about £30 for 8 litres IIRC).

Yes, they still do that too.

About £32.50 for 8 litres of 10W/40. I got the VAT muddled up with the above price I think.
I seem to recall also seeing Magnatec 5W/30, 4 litres for about £18-£19.
