Not a one-time deal, but more like a "once-again" deal since I did something similar a couple of years ago. Randy, since you're in the USA you should probably just contact Kingsborne directly at 800-643-0375, ask for Chris, mention my name and tell her you're another US LEC M100 Elan person looking for wires. She knows I'll be picking up a passel of sets for our UK brethern and will give you the discounted price and ship them directly to you. 8mm wires come in yellow, too. They'd look mighty nice!

Hi folks! I've closed the group buy and will call our friends at Kingsborne with the order today. The plan is to ship all 11 sets to Adam in one box. Shipping will be approx $55 via US postal service. The sets themselves are $22.50. For those on the list, I live near Woking and work in Bracknell, and can bring leads to the H&C, Rickmansworth or ACE meetings or drop them off in Surrey/Berkshire/Hampshire if not too far out of my way. Probably goes without saying, but the cost does not include any VAT or duty that might be levied when the package enters the UK - it's strictly the cost of getting them out of the US and onto your shores.

I suppose there's always a bit of risk with a group buy but as usual, LEC members are the most courteous and all-around great automotive people on the internet! A quick status update: I tried to place the order with Kingsborne on Friday but they appeared to have closed for the Good Friday holiday. I've left a message for Chris and will follow up Monday morning. They usually turn orders like this in just a day, so I don't expect any trouble getting them in the post by Wednesday as projected.

I spoke with Chris today and ordered the plug wires. They'll be ready for me to pick up tomorrow, so I should be able to get them into the post on Wednesday. esprit888's wires will be shipped under separate cover to the green part of the Great White North. I don't think I've heard from whippet or briggsy yet but I trust you'll respond in good time. I'll let you know when the packages go out.
