I've seen the available colours in the past but my question had a different intent. Is this going to be a group buy organized by one (or more) individuals or will people be expected to order off the website or from the supplier directly? I ask because no one is indicating what colour they want when they state their intent to buy. If a LEC member is handling the order then people should be indicting their colour preference. If people will order directly from the supplier they can deal with it when they order. Also, are people buying the entire set or just certain pieces? Will it be possible to order only certain pieces/sets? For example, I "might" be in for a coolant hose set only (in black) if its possible to order only that set.

People can specify their colour on the list or when they make payment. The normal colours are no problem but the colour surcharges will be assessed.

We were going to do the order in one shot so we meet the requirement for quantity. James offered the better discount based on at least 10 sets of coolant hose kits. The discount comes with them not having to do multiple shipments and all sets go into one or two big boxes to get us the best shipping rate. If you want to order directly, you will get the normal LEC discount which I believe is 20%. I do not believe Amber offers single hoses, just the complete set.

They NOW offer the previously missing Upper Radiator Connector Hose as a separate item: Use TB4480 Reg. Price: £17.84 Special Price: £12.49

Since the Turbo hoses are probably not correct for the Federal car, the main focus is on the coolant hose sets. We have provided Samco with a sample of the Federal Turbo Hoses for them to manufacture.

Nobody has expressed any interest in the other sets and the final price for those will depend on the number of people who sign up for those.

The induction hoses and ancilliary hoses are correct for all of the models, so they can be added. Expect at least a 15% discount on the extra sets but that can improve if there are enough ordered.

So, bottom line: anyone can order any 1 set or any combination of sets as they desire. Many colours are available, some with an added charge.

If we can get at least 10 sets of coolant hose orders, the cost per set is £178.00 + shipping to the US + redistribution in North America.
Hoping to get a bulk shipping rate of around $35.00 per set from the UK to the US.
Redistribution shipping in the US should be between $18.00 and $33.00 depending on FedEX GROUND, Parcel Post or Priority Mail. Canada sets will be shipped at the best rate we can get.

Jubilee clips for the Coolant hoses are also available for the additional price of £40.73, £14.10 for the Turbo Hoses, £10.28 for the Induction Hoses
and £9.02 for the Ancilliary Hoses. These are not light and will add to the shipping. It will be hard to get the shipping exact until the list makes more progress.

Silicone Turbo Hose Kits will be £90.00 + shipping

Silicone Induction Hose Kits will be £65.00 + shipping

Silicone Ancillary Hose Kits will be £35.00 + shipping

Best to consider $1.60 as the currency conversion for USD to GBP. That is what PayPal is charging these days. It could go higher if the US Dollar loses any more ground.

Please go back and read the projected cost postings. I have tried to calculate as accurately as possible the cost per SET of hoses. The hoses are big, bulky and require big boxes.

It is looking like $35.00 per SET of hoses (not per buyer order) from the UK to the US and we might be able to tape several boxes together to get a better total cost to ship a buyer's order in the US to the US.

This assumes sending hose sets to us five sets at a time. Once we get the true number of sets, we might be able to massage the numbers and get more sets in each master box, but we need to start somewhere.

To make sure the Turbo hoses are correct, we need to ship a set of Fed hoses to Amber Performance to have them verify and/or remake as required.
They also asked for a correct Fed Top Cooling Hose assembly. James said they never received the correct connecting hose for the top hose so want to see the entire hose assembly to make the missing hose.

The requested hoses are boxed and ready to ship. I will let you know more when I know more.

If you're going to all that work (or if someone else is planning to pull some hoses off their car) it would be great if we could get that missing Fed coolant hose sent to them and made up. Either through Samco themselves or if the retailer can at least look at the piece and recommend an appropriate Samco substitute if one is available.

Sorry. That is the missing hose from the Cooling system hoses. All 3 pieces are in the box and will be sent along with the two Turbo hoses.

These are pieces from Matt's (Nitroman's) big liquidation last year.

Peter: Spoke with Jame and there will be no problem with choosing a camo scheme. Urban Camo is only one of the camo schemes available. The one you are asking about is called Lightning Blue. James said they will fix the options list on their web site as soon as possible.

Everyone else: James said that build time for a hose kit is in the range of 4 to 5 weeks, so factor that into time estimates for getting your hoses. We will be getting them shipped to the US via FedEX 2 Day Delivery and will forward-ship as quickly as possible. REMEMBER: The colours other than their normal fare have percentage surcharges assessed. Jack and I will try to quantify the different prices in US Dollars later this week. ALSO: The samples for the Upper Hose Connector Elbow and the Turbo hoses shipped out on Saturday. Samco should receive them in around a week.

The sooner the list is completed and confirmed, the sooner we can get the order(s) placed.

Duty/Taxes are based on my most recent FedEX shipment.

Samco uses only ONE size shipping box. The cooling hoses completely fill a Samco shipping box. The other 3 sets will all fit in one Samco shipping box. If you order the Turbo set or get all 3 extra sets, the shipping will remain the same at $32.00 + $20.00. So, if you order a cooling hose set and any of the other hoses, the inbound shipping should be $64.00 and outbound should be $40.00. I hesitate to say this is absolutely correct and permanent because the Dollar to Pound conversion fluctuates and if it goes crazy, things could change. This is a best effort estimate based on a lot of shipments to and from the UK over the last 2 years.

Shipping is based on FedEX 2-Day shipping from the UK to the US and FedEX GROUND within the US. Priority Mail is also available, but more expensive. Each box is 24" x 10" x 6" in size.
