The guy I spoke to from SJSportscars said it was a bolt in replacement, that wouldn't need any alteration to the car. So I'm making the assumption that they have the right plugs on them already... They did say that they wont have them for another couple of weeks, so anything could happen. But I'm hopeful that it will just drop in.
When people have replaced the fans have you managed to reuse the mounting grommets?
Mine look like they have seen better days.

I have been supplying these fans complete with new grommets and stainless steel washers & locking nuts.
The nuts can be a real problem, and it's not unheard of for the studs to shear off the radiator frame due to corroded fasteners...
I might be talked into doing another 5 pairs if there's enough interest - feel free to start a list...

When I have my new car, let me check the condition of its fans more carefully.... (next week, I hope).

Thanks for sorting this Gordon.
Gordon wrote:Has it got the correct plug on it

Makes me look quite competitive, for a fan that fits straight in (after a bit of DIY trimming

)
I'll have a look when I get home...
Just to confirm the SJS fans dont have any connector on them. So you still need to cut and solder the exsisting connectors.

Did you manage to get in touch with the supplier, Gordon?
My fans seem to have started sounding much better, recently which was fine until I checked and discovered I now only have 1 that works
So Id be very interested in getting the buy underway...

Gordon,
Got the Fans fitted, nice bit of kit
I did remove the 2 top lugs but also turned out that i had to remove the lower ones and part of the lip/rim as when putting back the Rad support frame it was squashing the plastic cowling which prevented the fans turning.
Anyways all working fine now

lower Lugs and rim removed
