OK, September 7 has come and gone and we reached 50 pairs of Improved Outer Door Strips from PNM Engineering.

The strips are based on the S2 version and are the LONGEST version so they will fit ALL models if you follow the instructions provided in the WikiLEC: http://wikilec.9600.org/index.php/Door_ ... therstrips

Gordon's write-up is very easy to understand. On a side note, the backbone metal embedded in the PNM Strips in STAINLESS so are a bit more difficult to cut and you might find it easier to trim the rubber part first and use a small side grinder or dremel type tool to cut the metal part.

I will consolidate all of the directions found on LEC for dismantling the door to reach the mounting screws and will get it posted in time for the strips to arrive at your location. (I placed links to the different postings earlier in this topic).

PNM will provide me with the final financial details and we will want to get this offer finished as soon as possible. NOT MANY OF YOU have emailed me your NAME and ADDRESS details. This is CRITICAL so we know how much YOUR PNM Strip set will cost you. We felt we would be fairest to charge the same discounted price for the strips to EVERYONE and add the proper postage to each order.

So, get off your duffs and send in the details and I will start preparing the necessary financial details PMs and eMails so everyone can send their payments to dapinky. DO NOT jump ahead and send Dave anything until we get the final details to you as some costs most likely will have changed since this offer began.

The final price for the door strip sets came in at £52.50 for the pair. Postage/Shipping is different for different locations so your PM has the correct costs for YOUR order.

As stated in the PM, Our Group Buy exceeded PNM's expectations. They have ordered additional stock to fulfill our order request. They expect to receive them in 3 to 4 weeks but have made them "Urgent" to hopefully be able to get the sets to us sooner.
