Don:

Your order was:

FRONT SKIRT
FUEL FILTER
R/H UNDERAXLE PIPE (PECO)
AIRBOX INTAKE TEMPERATURE SENSOR
RED COVER FOR SPARK PLUG LEADS
RAD DUCT UNDERTRAY-3099 ON
PRIMARY SILENCER (PECO SLIP ON)
FRONT LONGERON LH

If you think you can get that in a VX220, then God Bless you.

I think that the longeron will be a challenge. Is the Front Skirt large too? Primary Silencer? Under Axle Pipe?

Where are you going to be in the UK in 2 weeks?

Specky is in Swindon, around 90 miles East of London.

I believe He will have things sorted by then and you are welcome to collect any time, but are you sure it will fit in the VX220?

Oha  yes, you tell the truth...although i have a lot transportated in all of my cars (especially shoes for any kind of Mrs  ) this would be challenging, indeed.

We want to go all over the lovely isle beginning in newcastle to the top and rolling down to Goodwood at the begin of July. So London will be on the "way"...nearby... We have also a S2000 on our tails... perhaps we can change sth over. I will investigate this a bit more and will be back. Nevertheless a meeting would be nice and perhaps I can take some minor parts with me?

Thanks for helping so far.

Is that at the Longwater business park behind Sainsbury's at Costessey?

It's 3 miles from my house, and they made me take a round trip of 20 miles or so to Strattons for a Hall Sensor, 2 foglight switches and a pair of steering rack boots!

Absolute 80's on the radio....

Best start sorting the pile out,

Priority stuff first.... That's you Geoffers... :-D

If I've got your name and details, you'll be next.

One thing I will say, I hope to be dropping Brit car nuts stuff off in just over a week or so.

So if your stuff is going with him... Result

I'll update later in the day, mainly when I find out how much packaging is required, and it's alot.

If you haven't paid for your parts , pay up fat boys... Or I'll name and shame..

Don't forget to inform me of delivery.

Late morning would probably be best, but whatever time is convenient for you.

Whoops! That was all meant to be a PM!

Still, if it's all going to plan, here's the plan. Specky will sort out all the light parts for the West Coast and Colorado (Tigerdoug, Ekapol, Marie, Algirdas and Superbad), I will pop over on Sunday to pick them up and then attempt to get them in someone's case for hand delivery. I'll also grab my own bits and A5GCD's. Does anyone else (MPx?) want their parts brought from Swindon to Bristol, remembering that I will be awol for 4 weeks.

Many Thanks Dave.

Anyone that wants to share the ride to the US with the Fed Tub better get it together. Dave is only making one trip to my consolidator.

According to Geoff: For a 12" x 12" box expect to spend at least £60.00 by TNT. Thats pounds, NOT Dollars. Expect around the same PER driveshaft.

Then there is also the shipping materials. Lotus didn't put anything in boxes except the 2 Steering Racks. Everything else is just in a pile on Dave's floor.

Don't expect the volunteers to go around and find free boxes. They will go to the first place that sell boxes and get it over with.

Specky and his crew are CAR ENTHUSIASTS, not a shipping department.

If nobody jumps in, I will be ordering a crate instead of a container, so there won't be any room for stragglers.

There won't be a huge discount in the cost to ship with my container because I will have to pay for the Duty paperwork and if Dave drops it off, he won't be packing it, so I will have to box everything when it gets to NC.

It WILL make it easier for Dave and his crew and it WILL save YOU a bit. I will not attempt to profit from anyone's shipment.

Not everything is in on the floor...the wishbones were boxed up.. But at 85p each you can't really complain....But I did

One thing to remind you of... No PayPal when it comes to postage...Just like it says in the first post :D

Here's a few pics of me pottering through the parts. I'm getting there...

If you don't see something, chances are it's "comedy big" and it's in my garage

So many toys! Glad Dave has a big toy bin. Now, if everyone will just line up in a neat and orderly fashion, you can collect your parts.

Dave: Have you heard from everyone regarding delivery or collection?

Do I need to help from this side of the pond?
