Register your interest here for the Pre-Cat Eliminator @ £94 - for anyone that doesn't know this is the lower portion of what I would consider to be the downpipe (look under the car from the trangular flange, then look up towards the engine - the pre-cat housing is the cylinder section between the triangular flange and the six bolts holding it to the upper part)

In the picture the top one is a Haywood and Scott stiffy.
The bottom one is Original Lotus, the PCE will only replace the right hand half of this.

From an airflow point of view this looks much better (the stiffy)
Are they still in production and what do they cost?

I've stuck my name on the list for an as-yet-unavaillable stiffy, but should they not be availlable at a reasonable price, I'll take one of these!
From what Garry has said on another thread, the biggest issue is the change in diameter to accomodate the top half of the housing (turbo/exhaust exit), so presumably that would be reduced with a full pipe???? (I'm sure there will be other issues to worry about, though

).

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Not wishing to hijack the thread, but if anyones interested, ive got an original Nitromans PCE for sale in the " Parts for sale " section. It is unused as having Maries turbo upgrade & just want some of the money back ?
JPS M100 was built from bare chassis up to create one off M100 in the mould of JPS Team Lotus

Hello

It looks like we shall be developing this while the car is here and not developing the full downpipe

We don't need 10 orders for this as we are just doing it off our own back. We shall get pictures up when we have done it and then people can order as and when

Not long now.
