I am hoping to gauge an interest in a group buy for AB Motorsport Gear Cables. Serious people only please.
AB Motorsport prefer to supply a bulk order of their product to their sales representative. Here in UK that's WillB (for whom I can vouch).
Here's how it works:
We gauge an interest via a list, then WillB makes a deal with AB at a set price for fixed amount of people (on the list). The set price is offered to the list and Payments are taken for those happy with the deal.
Anyone drops out at this point opens a space which can be filled by another interested party.
I want a set and so do many of you, so let's get together and do this, as it may be difficult to get them on your own or after this group buy.
They were about £220 a pair if I recall so this is a 'ball park' figure (of course it's a group buy). But Lotus breakable ones are a lot more.
Put your names here and lets get the ball rolling!

I've already been in touch with Will a few months ago, but he was unable to contact AB at the time. Assuming you will be dealing with him about this, please let him know I am also on this list.

I'd love a set, but it'll probably be a couple of months before I can afford them given all the other expensive bits I've been buying for the car recently.

I'm not sure if the group buy will still be available in a few months, but we may order an extra set or two; especially if someone drops out when we are ready to place the order.

Hi All,
Apologies for not being on here for AGES.
Been closing my main business down and demolishing my office building, all a bit manic!
Last price on the AB's was around £230+vat. Hoping to get this closer to £200+vat ideally.
I know their costs have gone up, hence the group buy to try and get the price down a bit.
Anyway, ideally looking to get 10 sets as a group buy

Will,
Nice to see you today, sorry I couldn't stop. Had to get back to work. I always seem to be in a rush when I meet you!

No probs! Was just dropping some bits at Steve's and taking the Noble for an Mot.
Right, we have the minimum of 10 UK orders so that's great. I will be holding the group buy open until the end of the month.
AB have ordered 20 sets to be manufactured, so hopefully that'll be enough.
UK Price confirmed at £205+vat, can deliver for £10+vat or collection from me or SurferPhil. Payment by bank transfer or Paypal (+5%, which is what it costs).
EU Price is £235 +vat including shipping = £270.25
Non-EU (USA, Australia etc etc) = £245 including shipping (no VAT)
I wont need payment until AB have confirmed the cables are ready to ship.
