Door handle escutcheons

Hi all,

I'm thinking of finding a plastic moulding company to replicate the door handle escutcheons, as my driver's side one is cracked and this seems to be a common problem. I know there are sometimes replacements available in carbon fibre but I want to tidy up my interior without messing with the original look. Quality-wise I don't want to go over the top, just to be able to replace what's there with something reasonably solid.
It'll be a while before I get around to this as I want to finish dealing with the throttle cables first, but it'd help if I could gauge the level of interest. I'd want to replicate the original colour for mine, but I imagine other colours would probably be available.

Hi Ashm,
This probably sounds cheeky and a potential hijack but here goes anyway.... when you find a company, could you enquire if they have the capability to manufacture the clear lens covers for the rear lights (NLA, rockin horse do do)? I am sure there would be some demand out there.
My apologies if my post is inappropriate, just thought you seem to be a switched on guy, keen on projects, with contacts etc.
Regards
Mark

Um, I could try... I thought somebody was doing these commercially? protocast.co.uk?
Oh, you mean the smooth clear bit over the top of the lens?

Last time I spoke with Protocast they couldn't do the clear covers because their oven/chamber wasn't large enough. They do the clear side indicator and front indicator/sidelight covers though.
Cheers
