Rear Hub conversion

As there have been a number of people that have been asking about these link to original thread.

I will need at a minimum 25 people to commit to retain the same costs for both the hubs and the SKF bearings.
Good thing from my point of view is is does not take any of my machining time as they are CNC machined which is something I do not have and probably could not justify let alone afford.

I don't think we will reach 25 at this rate.....but this is worth having.

Hi Bob,

Just a thought as the take up for this batch may take a while to reach 25 requests in order to retain same costs. I'm in no particular rush so it's not an issue, but any idea if we cut the list at 10 what the estimated costs would be?

Knowing the higher price would help decide to take the extra hit or not.

Cheers
Rob

If we have 25 sets like the last batch its approx 131.00 plus p&p a car. I'm sure Bob shall confirm.

Hi boys

Recently bought a red Calypso - 33 000Km/20 505 miles - and I´m having problem´s replacing the rear brakes (still stock ones).

Questions: do you recomend the rear hub conversion? What cost can i expect by joining the group?

Thanks

I'm not sure that doing the rear's only is advisable. Most people have either already upgraded the fronts and are looking to balance out the brake system with better rears or are doing the fonts and rears at the same time. Bob will no doubt be along shortly to comment.
