Hi All I posted details on a group buy on the exhaust section but this seems to be a better place to notify people:

I have been in touch with PNM Engineering (after talking to them at Brands Hatch)

I told him that there was a discussion on here and possibly a few people that would be interested in the second silencer.... He replied the other day and can match the £78 posted in the uk, but also offered a group buy with the following amounts:

5 units £75.50
10 units £71.50

Can we have a show of hands to see what the numbers are like please (I'm am not offering to organise this group buy, my hope is we can organise a group order over the course of a week or so and contact PNM independently and directly)

John is on holiday until the 15th of September, so I will be in contact with him then and he is more than happy to deal with individuals but to apply the discount should we get the required numbers

On topic: I was hoping for some plug-in thingey for the Peco, I'll focus first on getting my front bearings done now and after that i want to make the car (convertible top) leak free again!

Hi people, I have received the secondary silencer today (it looks to be great quality) and will be fitting it this weekend. here is a copy of an email from John at PNM.

so be quick and save some money - please contact him directly as he is the one facilitating the reduced price.

Just to let you know that I got the exhaust guys to do five M100 silencers pipes for me which they agreed to do at the cheapest price. I now have these in stock. So for the first 5 people who contact us with their details we will do them at the price of £71.50 all in (delivered to a UK address - outside of UK would have to be calculated).
This is strictly on a first come, first served basis. When these 5 have gone, the price will now be £78 as they will have to be ordered as individual units again.

If you could pass on the details to those that have expressed an interest I would be grateful.

Wish this had happened earlier - I ended up fitting a new Piper exhaust because I couldn't stand the noise any longer. Cybox did say they could fit another silencer, but only at the factory.

On a positive note, you could sell the Peco with the guarantee that it can be toned down if found to be excessively noisy.

Do not remove your exhaust and try to fit the new box IT WILL NOT FIT i have phoned PMN and they now know there is a problem and will be phoning peco/cybox on Monday.

Apologies for this. It looks like Cybox haven't flared one of the ends so it fits over the existing pipe. It is identical to the one pictured earlier in the thread other than that.
Unfortunately, after Cybox had developed the additional pipe and it had been fitted to a number of cars, we had very little input into this and had presumed all would be fine and they had done exactly as they had done before. A mistake does seem to have been made with this batch.

PNM will of course rectify the issue for anyone who has bought one so far, just send it back at your convenience.

Andy111s, we will not send yours until we are satisfied the issue has been rectified. We weren't aware of the issue when we took your order.

Hi John when you phone peco can you please ask the question is it safe to cut the beacket on the back box where it is welded onto the pipe which will have to be removed to fit the new box, will this make the joint into the back box weaker? or will it be better to make the new box shorter and leave this braket in place.

Fair enough, not in any great rush. Thanks for letting me know...

i got the new box back today from pnm all looks ok now hope to get round to fitting it over the weekend, thanks Chris for contacting pnm and sorting the discount and thanks pnm for sorting cybox/peco cockup so quickly.

i fitted it today well worth the time and money (and it was easy to fit) what a difference this extra box makes, if you have a cybox exhaust i would recommend getting one.
