Lotus Elan Central

S2 owners (and other interested parties): I'm exploring the possibility of having a fresh logo made for my S2 key - the existing one is rather dishevelled :-)

These are 12mm in diameter and the usual green/yellow/white colours. If you'd like one or more for your key - or indeed any other Lotus-related purpose, please let me know. I don't yet have final prices, but expressions of interest welcome at this stage.

Do I sense a list coming on . . . ?

I don't know what an S2 key looks like but Lotus own copyright on all the logos and I know during the GM ownership period the company lawyers used to go after anybody using it commercially in any way whatsoever, but they might have given up when all the Chinese stuff appeared. Perhaps Geely will deal with those... :-D

Companies may be reluctant to produce what you want but ebay certainly seems to have plenty to keep the Lotus lawyers busy...

I've got too many sets of keys with the usual Lotus badge so bought these for the latest Collapso SE.
Something different but rather Elan specific so if I lost them it would not take a great brain to work out what car the keys fitted.. :smt017

Do you mean to say that the little circular indent on the back of the Gemini key should have something in it?

PS Can't remember who was talking this @Lotus70 (was it Bill or was it Clem…o) but it looks like it's a Gemini logo rather than GM/Opel logo on the front of the S2 key.

Well, my S2 key certainly had a Lotus logo there, rather than a blank, or a GM/Opel. it dropped off shortly after I bought the car.

Clemo, I think there wouldn't be room for a limited edition number as well in a 12mm diameter logo. But I can ask. How's your graphic design?

If the Lotus logo is a problem then you could always do a Lotus theme using the cat on skates.

Thanks for the idea, Joao, but I was wanting to deal with the unsightly gap on my existing S2 key, which isn’t that shape at all.

Good thought, Geoff. Does anyone have original artwork, and/or do we have a tame graphic designer?

Right, I now have prices confirmed for these. They’re 12mm diameter Lotus badges, gel-covered, green/yellow/white, self adhesive. Price is £2.50 post paid for one (UK), £2.00 for second and subsequent badges. Designed for S2 key, but will obviously work for other applications which require a small logo badge.

At the moment the list reads:
