Halfords Black goo

Postby nickb » Fri 20.05.2005, 11:34

I'm sure one day while surfing on LEC I see a post mentioning a black silicon Goo Halfords sold, I think there was even a picture of the packet but I can't seem to find it anymore?

Am I going mad, or just very bad at finding things

Nick

Try searching by "sikaflex" that's the brand name of the real McCoy. I'm assuming you're alluding to Halfrauds equivalent.

Do you mean Halfords Black Silicone Sealer? I think a 40g tube costs about £2. It's in a 6" long green tube with a white cap.

If you need I can send a pic.

Sikaflex comes in a variety of guises. IIRC it's the black marine sealant you need with a combination of 2s and 1s in its title.

Anyone?

That said, the Halfords equivalent is much cheaper.
