Sadly enough I hit 140 to 150 with great regularity. VDO also makes a 160MPH speedo but,I opted for the one in the Esprit. Who knows, with enough tweeks to the motor, changing back to my taller final drive, (and a really big tailwind) maybe the car will see 190. Then again.......

Just bought Lockwood dials for the main gauge cluster (£38.04 delivered)
The three subsiduary dials are being replaced completely.

Before I start to dismantle the dash, does anyone have any 'tips' which may save me time and skinned knuckles!

I note that several members have installed extra panel lights - is this an advantage, or would replacing all the panel bulbs be adequate maybe with a higher wattage bulb?
