Ray, I almost just pissed myself laughing at that!!

I actually think it is a good idea, but given my (our) experience with CV boots here I prefer not to see or think of them. At least you have a universal boot around for a roadside spare just in case. :wink:

Thank you for the comments.

I only fitted the telescopic variety because of the position of the steel tube in relation to the hole. If yours is central, and round, as it passes through the wing, or if adjustments can be made with the arch liner off to make it central, and lower it down a bit, then the flat grommet will be perfect.

I haven’t seen under the wing but it might just be a matter of moving a bracket.

Steve, did say they have a few, but he gan get them in multiples of 5 at a time and didn't see much problem with obtaining a larger quantity.
