East Mids June Jaunt

Postby DaveT » Sun 04.02.2007, 08:52

8)

By way of celebrating someones 30th ( begins with S and ends in TEPH) and having an excuse for a bash any of you interested in a jaunt over this way? Sunday 24th? (or the 1st July- 2nd option).
Meet mid morning at mine for coffee and bacon rolls. Drive to the seaside along some windy roads for icecream. Parade along the seafront as slow as possible at 2 resorts then return to mine for some more food.

Non East mids and spouses also welcome.

Theres a target for you SBK

Hi Gary. Dates not fixed as guest of honour has to confirm which dates might be suitable. Just thinking of a date June or July.

Hello!

Cheers for the thought!

Really have no idea whatsoever where I will be or what I will be doing so sadly cannot commit to anything. Got so much going on at the mo that I can't think ahead to June let alone my Birthday.

Set the date etc and lets see! (I have heard of Ipswick but cannot think where it is...

Bingo! F'in miles away! :D Twice distance to Cambridge from Kettering.

Might have to bring it a bit closer doode... Unless of course yo can muster up other LECers frm that area.

No excuses Steph- thats why were planning ahead so as to sort out a convenient date for everyone.

We have heard about you and at 135mph Ipswich is really close. I calculate that you'd be here in 44 minutes.

Thats about as long as it takes Justin to comb his hair before going out- that was your excuse for being late wasnt it?

Dave, this is a nice thought mate, Just not to sure about Stephanies committment to us at the minute :? .
Also about the 135mph, that wern't steph, she ain't allowed the keys anymore, only to go to work
Think Justins hair was a bit of an excuse Dave, can't you remember them courting days  .
Anyway, she's perhaps got important things to do, like meet the inlaws, plan the wedding, who knows ?

Hee hee! We were late as he had to help a mate move a lot of stuff with his van in the morning. Unfortunate timing but worked out ok.

Things are tough at the mo, will be jobless from tomorrow :(

Sorry folks. I just don't feel able to commit to much or look too far forward at the mo.

Mine had been building up and mutually ended. I'd reached my limit in growth there so time to go onwards and upwards.

Just all come to an end sooner than I'd liked.

Will need a new job soon, if anything to keep sane and away from Trisha and daytime tv!
