The heatshield on the underside of the bonnet has become detached around the edges in a few places. I've tried a couple of spray adhesives and even superglue but nothing seems to hold it back on for long. Anybody had this problem and found an adhesive that works?

Evostick has worked well for me. It is permanent and has the gap-filling properties you need for the application.
Get yourself a pot of the stuff. You apply a thin spreading of it to both surfaces, allow to virtually dry, then stick them together - forever!
