Well, as it's nearly Monday (okay, i know there's still a day to go, but it is quite close) and nothing new has happened on the thread for a bit, I've taken it upon myself to post something

In the absence of any other suggestions, Geoff e-mailed me a couple of places which are HIS suggestions, not mine, so don't blame me if the food is cr@p and the music's loud!

"I'm afraid my neck is well and truly stuffed (I've been off 2 weeks and the doctor has signed me off for another week) so I'm not planning to come for any bollecks on Monday. I was going to suggest either the Bowl at Almondsbury (BS32 4DT) or the Swan at Tockington (BS32 4NJ) - they are both quiet and do good food but I'll leave it up to you lot. Wherever you decide, let me know and if I've got the headache under control, I'll try to pop down."

As such, how does everyone (or even anyone) feel about these two?

They're both just off J16 M5 and (should be) easy to find!

As for a start time, well, it makes no difference to me, but if people are working locally, is it best to go for a 'straight from work' do, or is later better for people? Likewise, do we want food or not?

Suggestions (or even better, decisions) please.
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

This is typical of Bristol, tis a dark and cursed place from where pirates were borne and some still arrrrrr!

Should we re shedule as ailwyn was unsure to start with and Geoff is a sick sick man and not everyone could make it to begin with. Lets find a day we can all make and then it will be really good.

I have projects to talk about and advice/opinions to listen too. The more the merrier I say!!!
What say ye?

Thats fine by me guys!
I'm off on hols next monday for 2 weeks, so if suggestions could be made for after that date please. I know that only leaves 3 weeks then until Donny, but I think it would be good to meet up prior to going up there.

Not too bothered about daylight, my work in Bristol has ended, so could be anywhere in the UK Mon-Fri.

Right then! Sunday anyone up for a sunday meet!? Lets do some kind of effective list where we don't ignore the needs of the few; I've never been a fan of that majority rules crap, fascism is the way, my way! only joking.

I can do any day because everything I do relies on me getting on with it and no one else, I'm so happy! :-D

What day or date can you NOT do list:

1/ Phil I'm cool (if the surfs flat  )
2/
