As discussed at the last H&C evening we had better start having a think about what we're going to do this year if we want to do anything at all.
There are already a few things going on this year such as Sy's bash and the Track weekend on August bank holiday at Bedford. I put it forward as a suggestion that we combine the SSSS with the track weekend which is camping saturday through to monday. You don't have to do he track and we will be doing the sites on Sunday (track on the monday). So you can do the camping or just the sunday if you wish. Unfortunately the organisers of the trackday do not allow spectators which is sad but thats their rule. Anyway this is all just a suggestion for u guys to mull over.
It was also mentioned at the H&C whether we go further west so as to meet up with the west country crowd which would seem like a good idea.
Anyway open forum on this at the mo until a general concensus is reached. So over to you guys!
Cheers Chris

Good post Chris, i think the majority of us are doing Bedford camping trip, the sss is usually a day event, we could hold this earlier in the year, to give us a break before bedford, i think trying to join up with some of the guys from the west country is a good idea. Having it earlier wont be a problem with the weather as it usually rains anyway..

Apologies for not posting earlier.
Of course, I am always eager to do a Summer Spin & Scoff.
If there is interest from the bollecs people (hi there!) - do we need to think of a venue in the Bath / Frome area?
BBQs are good - are there any suitable country parks out that way?
Bye for now

Stonehenge?
Avebury?
Dave
Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?
