Availability of grommet around the air intake pipe

Offer still open to take delivery and redistribute here in the US. Or I can send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to anyone else who takes delivery of mine. I'll check to see if Paypal will work with a currency exchange. Never tried that before.

Dave, Techlectic, and others in the 'States:

Is this still available as a group buy or should I get onto SJ sportscars? I just had a read of the thread and wondered where exactly on the pipe the grommet was from. Once I realise it was as it passed through the inner wing I realised that mine was missing. Thought that was normal up till now

Unfortunately, i have a bag full of grommets but they are all currently spoken for, so at this time, i'm not able to help you (unless anyone 'drops out', which i think is unlikely.
It appears to be one of those 'I'll get round to it one day' type of jobs that everyone has been putting off (unless 30 of us all had the same failure at the same time, that is!) untill this thread came up.
SJs keep some in stock at £7.45 + VAT + delivery, but the big saving on the group buy wasn't so much the discount as the saving £3 or whatever on shipping.
It may be worth giving them a ring to see if they'll be at Donny, then you could avoid the postage issue (if you're not there, perhaps someone else could collect for you and post one).

got mine and fitted it
very simple device, just fills the gap between the body and the pipe, cant see it degrading much so should last a decent amount of time
now all i need to do (ok, i need to do loads) is get hold of the little rubber and metal thingy that holds the intercooler outlet pipe to the body just under said grommet

Seriously, it was started as a genuine 'problem' (not by me!) and gradually turned into a 'parts for sale' which i got lumbered with. (however, there is a link to it from the parts for sale threads.
