AC P/N# GF-481 or Purolator P/N# F33144 After accessing use a 20mm and 16mm wrench to remove/install. The clamp holding it place has 2 10mm bolts remove these after loosning the fittings.

All:
Here are some additional possibilites. Note: I got these cross references from a friend at Advance Auto Parts. I DO NOT know for a fact whether they work or not. Caveat emptor!
AC Delco GF-651
Purolator F33144
Motorcraft FG851
NAPA 3481(BP)
Bosch 0450905177
WIX 33L481
Champion G481
Deutsch FF504
Hasting GF111
Isuzu 8-25055-052-0 or 8250551290
Lucas F157
Cost from Lotus for an AC Delco Unit from England is $33USD. Cost from Advance Auto Parts for a Purolator is $6USD.
Also, for whatever it is worth, rumor has it that the filter element is the same as a V/8 Esprit as well as most every fuel injected GM product.
Sincerely,
Algirdas

You may also need to replace the 2 o-rings on the fittings going into the filter. GM part number 22514722 at about $1 each.

I have just recently ordered SJ910E0005FUEL FILTER (Delco injection) from SJ Sportscar at 8.30 GBP. Don't really know if I need to get it replaced or not but just in case it's an easy job to do when I have Marie's rollbar fit.

John, just a set (pair) of 'O' rings please - i picked up a filter (FRAM part number G3727) on Monday and didn't even think about the rubber bits!
(but it was a good price - £5.55 + VAT)

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

Hi John,
I ordered the Delco but SJ shipped me FRAM's.
Could I have a set of O-ring too. Please PM me how I could make the payment (Paypal, etc)
Thank you,
Ekapol.

Not trying to do John out of a sale, but is it cost effective to send O rings across the pond? If they are standard circular section O rings, then all that is needed is the inside diameter and thickness (or am I missing something?). I nearly bought a box of O rings from
Pirtek when I had my PAS pipe made up to save the delay and hassle in getting them from the accessory shop (20p each last week).

Dear Ekapol:
I'm with Geoff on this one. Cruise on down to Harbor Freight and pick yourself up a couple of boxes of "O" rings. Should last you a lifetime for around $20. I got the metric and inch sets. See
http://search.harborfreight.com/cpisear ... eSearch.do
I'm doing my fuel filter either tonight or tomorrow night. I'll let you know how it goes.
If you really want the real deal from the UK, I can bring them home with me and just drop them in the mail to you once I am back stateside.
Sincerely,
Algirdas

Most o-rings are made from some type of rubber that ages and gets hard with age so unless you are planning on leaving anytime soon, I would only buy enough for a few years worth.

Dear Atikovi:
You are absolutely correct. I meant that figuratively, but in my defense, I still have Twincam water pump "O" rings that are still usable after 20 years (though I probably will not risk using them).
But we are talking about Ekapol here and, even though all of our days are numbered, in Ekapol's case that number is much lower than most. Remember, he bought Doug's car.
Just kidding.
Sincerely,
Algirdas

The two places I bought from had the same case advertised in the Pirtex catalogue and they were not new! Available for
£15 for 400 and worth it for the time saving alone.

Be careful when selecting 'O' rings, material is very important, especially when fuel is around! e.g. my garden hose connector has O rings which barely last one year and that is with water and a (little

) sun
For instance James Walker
supply our 'O' rings in over 100 general and high-specification grades of elastomer (and other materials) including ranges of low-temperature and explosive decompression (ED) resistant materials.
Some reading for you:

Very true Dave. My links were for Nitrile which are suitable for fuel and oils.

I'm aware of that
Thanks all for the reply, and the links. I will read some more about o-ring and will probably go to a part store nearby.

Ekapol,
the fuel filter was replaced once while I had her -- either when the fuel tank was replaced or more likely when I had the fuel sender assembly replaced -- see the records for the date/mileage/info
