Makes up for missing Donny, as I am on call for the weekend. Doh!

Nick
I purchased my tickets directly from SELOC when you had given away your original allocation, so I won't need one. The tickets came with a SELOC car park pass so I think that I am OK on that front as well.

Cheers

Ok Paul - sorry about that the second allocation came from begging. See you there and Dony before hand.

Actually most of the Elan events are in the Midlands and the North, fortunately Seloc and the Kent group are great but my elan is regularly the only one around here.

Thats probably the best place to be.

The SELOC crew will get soaked having to walk all the way round to the paddock if its raining.

Less than 24hrs left to book your tickets at half price for what will hopefully be the best Lotus day out of 2007!

You can still book your tickets at discounted rate of just £6 in the SELOC shop after that it's £10 a ticket from MSV until 12.00 noon on wednesday after that it's still a very reasonable £12 on the gate but parking will be outside the circuit entrance by the main gate. (or for £6 by attending the brands hatch lotus night monthly meet on tuesday here)

We've closed entries for the 2 LoT Elise Trophy races with 36 cars taking part in qualifying of which 32 will go to grid - this is the maximum number of cars that can grid on Brands Indy and we can't find another one make series that has launched at brands with a full grid and an extra 4 cars qualifying!!

The extra handicap race for Lotus enthusiasts to race whatever car they like as the last race of the day should also have a full grid of 28 cars - including elises, carterhams, a couple of SELOC bmws and even a metro GTI not forgeting Rob Clarks Radical which is joined by another 2 Radicals.

There are over 25 trade stands including a number of dealers and a stand from Lotus which will have the new 2-Elevens and Exige GT3 - as long as they get back from Geneva ok. Theres also a GT1, Rally Exiges (which may even be racing!!) the Esti and a full rang of current Lotus models.

In addition we're expecting:-
500-1000 x Elises
50 x Esprits
150-200 x Sevens
Exiges, Elans as well as a number of Historic Lotus.

A number of Lotus and Motorsport 'names' will also be attending. A minimum of 2500 people will be at Brands but depending on the weather and us getting the word round (all help appreciated on other forums!!) we could have anything from 3000-5000 people there, a remarkable figure when you consider the days already outsold some of the major motorsport meets and we're only in March. It;s even gone so well ALL hospitality sold out last week with companies still trying to book more suites..

Full details, including current timetable here:-

I probably will not be there until 12.30 to 1.00. Taking my nipper and I think that a full day would be too much for him.
