Seal part numbers dont match, help please

Hi Guys,

I recently enquired about hood seals and somebody mentioned that lotus surplus stock sales had them on offer but the item numbers dont match the the item numbers listed on my service parts list.

For example, Intermediate seal LH A100V0123H on lotus for £11.06 (see link.)
My service parts list says the number is A100B6189S

Can any body shed any light on this?? which one is right??

Chris, ive checked on my parts list, & no's are right ( A100V0123H ). But having said that, the S2 seals are slightly different, so you might have S2 part no's there. Sure someone will confirm this soon ?

The intermediate seals are exactly the same for an SE or S2, one seal fits all cars. Only the falling seal and Header seal are different for each car.

If you look in the manual it shows the same seal fits both before and after #VIN, so no change to the seal at a later date.

Can't explain why the numbers have changed though.
