problem , problem - hood cable bent and snapped

Postby rushing » Mon 02.04.2007, 21:43

hi all :(

I snapped the drivers side hood cable pully . I made a 2 inch hole on the fibre glass whilst pulling it as well  , thats in pieces. I managed to also bend the small handle end of the cable. dont ask how ??? i myself dont know. I now gave the car to my local mechanic and he says the cable is completly ruined and knackered . I will never again do a DIY job of this sort without getting advise and the right tools. Anyway i desparatly need a cable. can some one please tell me where i can get one and what part number this would be to order.

thnk you

they should all be different part numbers: one for the hood stowage lid, one for the fuel door, and one for the bonnet release.
