British sportscars on the lake ( Geneva )

Postby DavidHarland » Thu 05.04.2007, 10:23

Hi all,

Went to this event last year in my Elan +2 but planning on taking the Elan M100. Really worth going to if you are a British sports cars petrolhead.

The variety of cars there is mindboggling and if they have a Swiss plate on then they are pristine.

The cars are organised by makes so most of the Loti were together, apart from the late arrivals who tucked themselves in nearby. It wasn't all Elises with old Lotuses as well.

The web address is http://www.british-cars.ch/index_gb.html and on the same weekend in Geneva is the Geneva Classics - http://www.geneva-classics.ch/en. There are pics on both sites to give you a feel for it.

One of the good things about Switerland is that they roads with BENDS. Ripper! From France though the Jura is good drive.

All the best

David

David,

Welcome to LEC, (I also have a baby Elan S4 SE FHC) what number S2 do you have? Gazza is building a register of S2's (I have 797) and would welcome your details. Can't see me making it to Geneva this year but good to get it on the radar for the future.
