Well hello Alan, your still with us, I wondered if Ribena had been sucked into a black hole or space time vortex.

Weegies go for peanuts, bourbons far too posh !

Rambo, get a camping trip sorted.

Probably been stuck in its heated garage in Helensburgh all winter

What about Big Erch's place when Michael and Kitty come over from Holland (sometime betwee 14/28 June) ?? Archie's thinking of having a BBQ at Gairnshiel Lodge with a promise of a free bed if you bring an Elan. Could potentially be quite a crowd - Michael, Archie, JohnW, AB2CV, me, you, Stevo etc... There's also plenty of grassy area for camping as long as you don't mind the odd chicken, sheep, goat in your tent for company

9 May -

just realised this clashes with the Troon tortoises 10km road race, which is part of my preparation for the Edinbugger Marathon on 27/5. I will be wearing a palacio coloured runners vest. Welcome to come and laugh.

13 June - Will be in Le Mans, first night of qualifying , with Nige, Jimbo, and Chris t. Rambo you need to join the fun before you get too old.

Seem to remember the Boness meets clashed with other things last year too.

11 July - on hol, planning to be in Fort Bill or Gairloch.

Dont think I will make the Michael/Kitty trip, Paris and LM beckon.

Who's all up for tomorrow night? Do the Edinbuggers want to do the usual meet at the Gyle at 8pm? I'll be there, complete with passenger who is keen to get a look at some Elises.

Alan - will try and be there dependent on work and weather down in the Borders. Don't wait for me though - I'll catch you up - LOL. If I don't make it I'll be at Thirlestane, assuming Booby Dickerse has saved a ticket for a "Jap car with a plastic body"

Hi

I have just bought my first Elan two weeks ago, 1991 in Calypso Red She seems to be in good condition however is running very rich at the moment.

I am based in Scotland, west lothian area and was looking to find out where and when any local meets are as it would be good to see some different cars and owners.

Cheers

Think I've come to my senses John.

Mark,
It'll be good to see you. Shame about the clash of events. I presume that you'll be staying at Rothiemurchas on the Saturday evening, but if not, do you both fancy staying at my place before driving to Archie's on Sunday? If so, give me a PM.

I won't be joining you on the whisky trail owing to work, but Michael & Archie will.

Work ?? What's that then ??? You could always throw a sickie and blame it on an undercooked chicken wing :D :smt078

Thanks for the offer John but you're right - we're staying at the bothy on Sat night then driving Cockbridge/Tomintoul on Sun for the BBQ. See you there.
