Log 27 Aspen Colorado - August 24-27 - Mark your calendars!

Postby lewtus » Thu 22.02.2007, 01:20

I changed the date, put things in the correct forum, and even have an Elan M100 as well as an x180R #5. I did have the the Elan before signed up for this. FYI I was able to beat all the Lotus cars in autocross at Apsen last year in my Elan....having never done one before!

We do, in fact, have quite a few folks from the UK and Australia committed to coming out. Many Colorado members are Brits as well and good friends of mine.

Just an update regarding LOG 27 being held in Aspen/Snowmass August 24-27 2007.

So far TV personality Alain de Cadenet and Peter Egan will be providing entertaining Lotus bits of history.

Alain is most recently known as the narrator/driver for the Lotus episode of the Victory by Design series on Speed Channel.

Road & Track Editor at Large; Peter Egan has committed to attend LOG, hopefully with his newly restored 1964 Elan S1. Be part of his chronicles on his planned trip to LOG.

Stay tuned for more updates at www.log27.com

Registration has opened for LOG

Postby DeanG » Sun 01.04.2007, 14:48

The registration form is now available at www.log27.com

The hotel is (and has been) taking reservations.

I won't be doing the auto-X but we will take the scenic drive. We will attending the track day event even though we won't be driving.

Stay tuned for some possible big news.

Me (We)

We are still planning on driving the M100 but have SouthWest air miles as a backup. The M100 still is lighting up the CEL on occasion. I will be trying Elanscan for the first time this weekend.

M100 Attendance at LOG

Postby DeanG » Tue 10.07.2007, 16:19

I did a quick count of pre-registered cars and I get 9 M100's. Not a bad turn out but I would certainly like to see more. How about having a 3rd annual M100 breakfast gathering on Sunday at 7:00? This will give us a bit of time to eat and talk befor the technical sessions at 8:00.

White?

Postby DeanG » Fri 13.07.2007, 01:39

I believe there is one white car coming, however if we all chip-in and work together I think we can give it a very nice rattle can paint job in a proper color (colour)javascript:emoticon(''). Actually we wanted a silver car. Couldn't find one in the condition and price we wanted.

Colour

Postby lewtus » Fri 13.07.2007, 02:50

When I looked for cars, other than red, they were pretty ratty at best. They always wnated way too muc for them, more than the cost to paint another color. I do not mind red at all, but when a bunch get together....guess what color they will be?
