Afternoon Mrs. P, please can Dave come out to play tomorrow? Even though it's her birthday today, Sarah has given me a note, so I'll be there.

Hi Sarah,

Please let Geoff come out....he's just a miserable git because of the footie results....(He'll be okay again on Monday - or not, if Reading win!)

So who actually made it to the meet?

I'm guessing all the men made it, but Geoff and Dave were probably not given permission by their wives :-D

BTW sorry i couldnt make it......my wife wouldnt let me go!

Seriously, hope it went well...lovely weather for some topless action!

Paul

As well as Dan and Al, there was Geoff, Dave and Mark. :smt097

Phil was coming back from Ipswich to meet a bloke in Bristol who didn't turn up then went back to London.

Ailwyn was "working on the car" although Sarah said on Friday he wasn't borrowing hers.

Paul was AWOL.

Is it true that all Welshmen are under the thumb? :-D

You missed a lovely day for some topless action but it was not shared by the pigeon that Dan frightened in the verge, which then flew up and into the top of my screen followed by an almost perfect pitching shot into Mark's car.

Now the weather is getting better, what about a meeting towards the end of the month?

As Phil and Ailwyn are both playing or is irt working? away from home at the moment, I suggest a weekend would be preferable.

Any suggestions?

The Club Lotus trackday is at Castle Combe on saturday 26th May.

Would that suit most of us?

I'll be going along, and dan is going too.....

just a thought.

If not, I'm free on the 27th aswell.

Cheers, Paul

What is the timing for the day?

We can't leave W-s-M until about 1000 as the kids are going to their dads for the week  and he is collecting them at 0930.

As such, i expect that you will be there well before me, so I am grovelling to see if anyone can try and pick up a 'parade lap' pass for me. (It's for Angie actually!).

If the weather is okay, i could bring a disposable BBQ and a few bangers, burgers and rolls so we could have a bit of lunch (if anyone's interested!). It's something we regularly do on the Dolomite away-days at CC!

Well, it seems that no-one wants a hot dog, so I'll try a different approach!

I'm meeting up with Phil (surfer) on Sunday at 1200 hours on Queens Road, Bristol (apparently there is a new Sainsburys there, with a cafe opposite ( :smt102 ))

Primarily its to collect my new radiator and try out the B post caps for him, but no doubt have a bit of a chat as well.

Anyone else want to come along?

For my part, it won't be a long do as i start work at 1400, but that doesn't have to stop you lot enjoying your day of rest!

Tw@t!

As it's the top of Park Street, it must be BS8!

Edit:- How many Sainsburys do you know of in any of the others! (St George has only just got a Somerfield, and the locals think that's a bit posh)

None.

There again, I didn't know there was a Sainsburys in BS8. I wouldn't know where to go to find a Sainsburys to be honest. There something to do with shopping, aren't they. Don't do that - woman's work.
