Paul, that first one's excellent.
You should have that as your avatar.
Looks like it was a lovely day - unlike at Brunty (I'm STILL damp)!
Striking fear into the hearts of duplicate posts everywhere...! :P

Start a new one....... WelshMod will still be celebrating and will probably miss it, so you won't get told off for starting too many threads.

Too late, Bucko!

Initial post changed to reflect this year's date.

I've asked Club Lotus for a place at Castle Combe again this year and await to see if I get one. Even if I don't get track time I may well take a trip to Castle Combe anyway as it's fairly close to me (hour and a half or so).

don't you usually book earlier than this Nige?
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

Don't know if they are fully booked or not as I don't yet have a reply and yes I do normally book earlier than this but have rather a lot of other stuff on at present and it stayed on the 'to do' list a bit longer than it should have. I'll post when I know.

Update:

Got home tonight after a few days away and my Castle Combe confirmation was waiting in the post so I'm in again this year :D .

It will be mechanically standard, but with most of the weight saving done. I'll do some Elan scan runs with the standard turbo set-up, so I have a benchmark for the tuning. I need to find a drag strip too. :-D
