..

Good turnout last night;

Nick* (hawk)
Me*
Nige*
Rob* and Michelle
Rob S*
Chris and Deirdre

* with Elans.

Chris had his new(ish) car with him - have you guessed what it is yet?

Clue; It's a Lotus, Jim, but not as we know it.

Good drive home under a clear sky and a full moon.

Kitty stands at £12.25

Cheers

Jim

You can't mean the Pseudo Elise :shock:

Good drive home too, clear skies, top down and 100,000 miles clocked on Norma as I exited the M3 for the M27 :D

See you next month, I would expect to have the Le Mans tickets with me by then so if those who are going to Le Mans are at the H&C I will hand deliver to save on postage and guarantee delivery.

Thanks, Chris, duly corrected.

BTW if you google the name Dierdre comes up as a name. I give up.

Looking at the pre-qual yesterday the Peugeot was apparently hitting 222 MPH.

The good news is I've just been told I can drive again as the bones are mending. The bad news is I've just realised the car needs to be MOT'd and taxed :(

... and the (new) battery is totally flat after 8 weeks without use - I'd forgotten to plug in the trickle charger before my accident :oops:
Regards

Senior Moments

Postby NickHawk » Thu 07.06.2007, 10:06

Hi

* with Elans [did you bring yours, Nick ?- can't remember - senior moment]

Yes the silver door basher was there. As you say nice drive home with the top off, it seemed warmer going home than it did getting there.

Hope you all have a great time at Le Mans.

Regards

Nick

We had a good evening with you all - thanks for the welcome.

May see some of you at Le Mans, in any event, have a good time.
