Has anyone got pics of the difference between the early cables and the upgraded Lotus cables . Not the AB cables.

Can any one answer my original question ? Reason i ask is i replaced my cables last week for a set of AB cables .I am curious were the original cables break.

They had a tendency to come apart at the cotton-reel type device towards the transmission end of the cable.

Its not the cable that breaks but its the plastic section that is attached to the gearbox .

Many thanks for the replies . I thought the main problem was with the actual end nylon fixings.
