Autosport seems to be about Lewis the new boy, no Le mans supplement ? won't next weeks be too late

Have a safe journey and see you next week. This months Evo has a guide but as the Autosport one isn't out until next week it'll be a question of picking one up at the circuit.

just got back. Good journey through France with the mass exodus back to blighty.

Really enjoyed the week, despite the rain. Thanks to nige for getting everything organised. Appreciate also all the LM knowledge imparted to get us in the right places at the right times, pls pass on our thanks to Mark also. Hope everyone got back ok - yes the weather was a bit iffy but was roofless for most of the way.

CU all next year (but i might do the Classic!!!!)

We got to Zeebrugge at 1600 with an hour to spare !

Topless all the way, seems we missed the rain that spoiled the end of the race.

Home yesterday afternoon, took a long wash to get all that campsite mud of the car, 24's are gleaming again.

So maybe see some of you at the Classic next year.

Hope everyone got back safely.

We had an atrocious drive back to the coast in pouring rain and spray all the way back.

Nice rest and recuperation the following day, though, visiting WWI sites and museums. Nice food, too.

It was really good to travel down most of the way with Mark and Matt - it made for a really special drive.

Pleased to see all are back safely and got through what was a pretty horrendous drive on the Sunday after the race finished. It wasn't quite the wettest Le Mans I've been to as far as the race was concerned (95 was wetter I seem to think) but for sheer persistence throughout the week it takes the prize. However, we managed to stay mainly dry and it wasn't too cold.

A good result I think with 3 different cars in the top 3 places and Brit privateer (Martin Short's Roll Centre Racing) in fourth and the Aston finally winning the GT 1 Class and fifth overall. Would have preferred both the Kristensen, Capello, McNish Audi in P1 and the 007 Aston with Herbert in it as the GT 1 winner but that would have been the icing on the cake.

I'll be back at Le Mans next year if all goes as intended.
